Melanie is a gray tobiano WB x QH mare standing 15.3H. She was my personal horse for two years and enjoyed foxhunting. She is a forward thinking and extremely brave mare. She had an injury to her hoof that has made her intermittently 1/5 lame and has become a broodmare. She is sound but made such a wonderful broodmare we have not gone back to riding her. This is an exceptional and proven field hunter. Her first foal, “VSH All That Glitters” foxhunted perfectly the three times she went out before selling and was just as brave as her mom. Glitter is owned by a mother and young child and is eventing for both of them!
Melanie has had two lovely buckskin foals by VSH Coast to Coast and is confirmed in foal to RFF Abracadabra for 2027.
